Lindsol Rainwater Valve is a damage prevention product designed to counteract the damage that often occurs in connection with heavy rain or cloudbursts.
The water expands the tape.
The Sealingtape tape swells up to 30 times the thickness in 3 minutes when exposed to water. When the tape is fully swollen and saturated with water, this condition and effect can be maintained for several days until the water level has dropped and it is safe to remove the tape.
The drain plug closes for rising sewage
The drain plug is mounted in existing floor drains 100-110mm. The drain plug shuts off rising sewage water and also stops the water in side drains. This means that water that can rise in shower niches, sinks and washing machines is shut off.
